Picked this up for only $8 off ebay. While it is acid dated, this variety is very rare and is seldom found. A VG example sells for around $300. So while not in the best shape, I am glad to say I own an example of this variety. Thanks for taking a look!

Also, I am sorry for the grainy photos. Nickel and silver always come out looking way better in hand with the photos I end up with . In hand there are no major issues other than the acid dating.

Super cool, thanks for posting. Do you think any of these samples would be the same variety? All no date unfortunately:

Hi Jadenusa! None of the examples you posted look to be 1915-D FS-501. Keep hunting! You may just find one someday!

@CH27 would love to see your whole buffalo collection, personally obsessed with them at the moment. I'm slowly building a very respectable one myself, including a 1913 S T1 2-feather no F.

To be honest I do not own a lot of Buffalos. I have a 1917-S two feather, 1918-S two feather, 1937-D RPM-001 and this 1915-D RPM-001 as far as varieties. I have a 1913-S type-1 I picked from a junk bin but nothing super exciting. Still on the lookout for the 1916 DDO and 1918/7-D. Would love to find those acid dating sometime. I would be happy to see what you've got too!

Thanks fortcollins! Yeah, it's a real toughie. It may be acid dated but given the rarity I'm just glad to have an example.
