2000-D Jefferson Nickel Possible Error

hgillooly673 New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted Today 2H 23M ago Ok so I'm not quite sure how to work this website but I came acrossed a 2000 D nickel tonight and it has the letter S for states only in United States of America only the S is there and it is completely flesh with the nickels where the other letters should be ive never seen this before and I have many coins what is this and how can I get it looked at for it's rarity I don't know how to go about doing this but this such a cool thing ive never seen anything like this before * Edited by Staff to clarify the topic title. One or two close-up pictures of the anamoly in question, plus a full picture of both the obverse and reverse, is usually enough. When possible, try to be specific about the anomaly in question (which you did ) Hard to see it on my phone screen, but it might be Struck Through Grease.
