Second, I hope that I'm wrong, but based on this current picture, it looks more to me like someone has taken a sharp edge and made a cut in the surface of this cent, causing some of the metal to pile up on top of the cut. However, they do show a deep furrow created by a blade or something, I can see the zinc exposed in it. The high point we see is where the metal got moved to curing the cut. so, unfotunately, this is a damaged coin. Collecting since 1972. Learning from then on "Tell me and I forget.
