Think it might either be 16th or 17th Century Italian States or UK Farthing Token. Copper, 15mm.

It's a farthing token.

This is probably a variant obverse legend; there is too much space between NOR and ATON to be just two letters. But everything else matches exactly.

...oh, it's NORTHHATON (the double H makes sense here because it's North-hampton). Here's an example, which looks like a die match.
