Daviscfad,

Did you find those nickels in the US or Canada ?
Either way, it is a good score.
Nickels under 1982 are getting harder and harder to find.

Good find on the 4 x 1970 nickels.
1970 nickels are very rare.
I have to search at least 5000 nickels to find one.

Strangely, I have been running into a lot of 1967 bunnies myself.
The funny thing is that most are uncirculated.
It looks like somebody broken open a BU roll or two in my neighbourhood.

I do find George V once in awhile. My best find were a solid roll of 40 George V (no 1925 or 1926 though) nickels a while back and a half roll of 20 George V nickels a month later. It looks someone was cashing in a hoard or collection.

i bought 15 lbs of .999 nickels from someone for 140 dollars "about 9 cent a coin" and thats what I found. I was thinking this George was in pretty good shape any opinions on a grade? from what I understand a lot of the Georges have weak strikes.

According to the book (Haxby & Willey)
VG: Band of crown worn through at highest point
F: Jewels in band of crown will be blurred.

Your coin appears to be between the two grades and is worth 75 cents to $2.50

By the way, your 1951,52 and 44 are not nickel, but chromium plated steel. But nice coins, regardless.
