Wow two whole topics from me in one day, so I guess you could say I am really back. On a more serous note I have about 80 04/05 circulated nickles. Should I keep or spend? Are they even worth more than face value?

In my opinion, 04/05 circulated nickels are worth face value. I say spend them.

Hey cool, I don't know if they are worth any more than face but I intend to gather a few rolls of them and hang on to them.

Hi cool

If you have alot of these nickels , go through them and pick out a roll or 2 of the very best one to keep and then spend the rest.

I agree with Metalman, keep a handful of the best ones and spend the rest.

Hi Cool,
I saved a bunch of circulated nickels (all practically bu) from the early 60's and just got rid of the circulated rolls a couple of years ago. In all those years, circulated nickels did not increase in value and I went through all of the maintenance you have to do with coins, especially having moved a few times. Unless you are finding the equivelent of 50-D Jeffersons, I would not. Berry
