I have recently purchased this IHC and wanted to see if a could get a clarification as to whether it is a S-3 or S-4. I believe it to be a S-3 but both varieties are similar. Thanks for the help.

Yours matches the details on the Snow-3. Here's a slabbed/attributed coin for comparison:

I'm not 100% convinced - can I see a full shot of the reverse?

nevermind, I'm convinced! You do have a Snow 3. The date position on S-4 is farther to the left than S-3. Check out the position of the 1 in the date, relative to the tip of the bust and compare to this S-4 --> http://www.indiancent.com/3530-1869...5rb-ngc.html

You definitely have S-3.

That's always my starting point for sorting similar varieties.
