Mini Morgans? Help Indentifying A Few Coins

GoldenRing89 New Member United States 17 Posts	Posted 09/01/2011 6:00 pm Hello! This is my first post, been reading the forums a while. I bought some coins today from a kid who bids on storage bins. They look like Miniature Morgan dollars? There is 2 of them, and the condition is "Run over by a Semi- Bad". Also, they are a little bit over 21mm around compared to a 24.25mm 1999 Quater dollar. I can not see what the coins in have common at all or while they are slabbed together. Bizybackson Pillar of the Community United States 1817 Posts	Posted 09/02/2011 11:43 am Not really a deal, hope you paid way under $50.00. The two V nickels seem to be better dates, 1887 & 1890, although they look to be FR-2 and probably worth about a buck each. I can find those dates in the nickel buckets at my local dealer. As for the "slab" it is in a five-coin snap-tite holder, and like Chris said, $16-$17 in silver, plus two circulated minor coins, all probably picked from circulation. Having a RedBook or similar recent price guide in hand will definitely help you in your next purchase of US coins, IMO. Report this Post to the Staff
