So many had that orange peel effect, numerous rim nicks and surface hits keep it from 64 IMO.
Still a tough one to find.

I agree with MS63ish. Missing steps are a strike issue. It's a scarce date in nice condition. Heavily eroded dies (and consequent strong luster) are the rule for the era. Actually, a lot of dies get even more worn and start to look like crap.

I'll guess MS-63. Nickel sure is tough on the mints dies'. Any MS nickel before 1990 is a keeper in my book.
