So I've been using this specific website: ( http://www.doubleddie.com/384301.html) for a guide and so far -every- single thing matches on the reverse! On the obverse the doubling and die gouge (above L along rim pointing NE(see pic)). I don't want to get my hopes up...but when everything seems to match the pictures and descriptions how could I not? Plus, this is the only version of 1972 WDDO that has the tail of the 2 kick up within the original 2's tail. What do you all think? You can also try coppercoins.com. From your pictures I really can't see the doubling clearly. Anyway you can fix the lighting and take a complete picture of the obverse?

I thought I had this one a few months back but it's a subtle one to see. I myself couldn't figure out whether it was a DDO or not, and can't quite see one here either. As recommended by jdavis18, check out the coppercoins page: http://www.coppercoins.com/lincoln/...ie_state=eds |

i dont know could we get a pic without so much glare? I am seeing something remember we are looking for a small rotated hub not a full out doubling but the glare is messing me up I cant tell if there is fatness or glare sorry I will check posting again tomorrow for a better pic

I don't see anything either...but the easiest way (besides the obvious) to attribute die #4 are the reverse markers...so far none have been found without. The obverse Cuds are pretty obvious too, but examples have been found without those. |
