Hello again
Here is a other coin I'm holding onto.It is a alaska State Quarter with some blobs of metal on the "IN GOD WE TRUST"and also lots of extra claws on the baers paw.Any idea what cause this?

They look like Cuds to me

Could be die chips or Cuds on the letters. No idea on the claws, the coin looks shiny so it could just be it looks like something it isn't. But I am sure someone that knows will get on here and let you know !!

Die chips, not Cuds. A Cud is where a part of the outside edge of the die has broken off. Chips happen on the interior areas in the fields next to devices. A part of the die chips away.

Extra claws on the bear indicates that the coin depicts the rare mutant "Many Claw" bear, only found in Alaska. ;-)

They are called die chips here in the U.S.A. I have seen the chips in the claws before but not that many chips, nice.
