Bob Potter New Member Australia 2 Posts	Posted 09/15/2013 08:18 am I have had a Tibetan coin in my possession for over 40 years and often wondered about it - it's denomination, age, value, etc. I made an effort to find out by searching through various catalogs and came up with the following :- Silver - either 1/12 srang or 3 srang (the descriptions are very similar). The year is very much in question (if it is 3 srang) as, according to the hieroglyphics it is dated 16/7 by their calendar. This translates as 1933 - but the catalog shows that the 1933 version looks entirely different. The 1934 looks the same. I need an expert, or at least someone smarter than me (easy to find).
