But I'm pretty sure Canada was the only country to issue 1/10th ounce $5 coins with .9999 purity, depicting Queen Elizabeth II and with both English and French on it. Canada did not make proof maple leafs that year, so it's a "regular" bullion coin. It's worth is whatever the bullion content is (1/10th of the current spot price of US$1205/ounce = $120.50) plus whatever the premium usually is for small bullion coins (about 14%). I've just noticed that the NGC database page for this coin has the wrong pic; they've got a Russian coin up there. That's a howler. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis Report this Post to the Staff
