I can't ID this exact coin, don't have experience with ancient coinage.
Can I get some help with this please?
Also, what do you think about a little acetone on this guy?
Sorry about the graininess, was having trouble getting a good pic.
Thanks!

Not my area, but it does bear much similarity to Abbasid Al-Mahdi issues, such as:

It sure does! Does every line have to look exactly the same to call it a match? Or would it be safe to say that's it? because there are slight differences there...

Well, the second link (to the Sphinx coin) includes the Arabic legends in the description. Using the translation function on my browser, I see the last line of the reverse legend reads as "Caliph al-Mahdi." That same line seems to match the script on your coin, so I think it's a good assumption that it's from the reign of Al-Mahdi. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of these issues will contribute to the thread.

I'm super rusty with my arabic, but yes I'm quite sure that you've got a coin from al-Mahdi. That would make it an Album 215.1. I'm having trouble identifying the mint, but you've got your attribution.

Also, your coin seems to be a bit more granular than most I think, especially on the reverse.

In hand it's not so grainy, I'll try to do a better pic but for some reason I'm having a lot of trouble with it. Would acetone be out of order for a coin like this? Maybe that would help?

I don't know a lot about this type so I'm probably wrong, but it looks more like al-Hadi the ruler after al-Mahdi.

Got a new one, different ruler? The side not shown is the same as on the other coin.
