coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 07/18/2008 7:06 pm Marks on the die makes the cracks/chips/breaks/scratches/gouges/clashes/die dots raise from the fields. This is what you see on this coin. The anomaly raised from the coin. If it had been damage, then it would have been pressed in the coin. This is definitely raised. coffeegod Valued Member United States 236 Posts	Posted 07/19/2008 11:33 pm The only question I have is on Pic #4, where it looks from that angle, that the raised area is underneath the "W". Probably need a better angle shot from the side to tell. I think if the raised mark turned out to be underneath the "W", then we'd probably have a different ballgame.
