Looks like someone was handling it with their fingers in the photo, and the shadow of their fingers made it look like a double clipped planchet.  The second photo shows it's a normal coin. Not one of those 1875-P 20 Cent Piece - Rare Mint Error - DOUBLE CLIPPED PLANCHET MINT ERROR - ONCE IN A LIFETIME - L@@@@@@@@K - FREE S/H!! |

That is my coin.
I took those pictures with my old camera setup. After researching and coming up with a new camera setup I should take some new pictures. It is just somewhat hard to go back through 600 listings trying to find the ones I didn't take good pictures of in the past.

Well, shut my mouth  I'm glad you see where that could be improved on a special coin. I completely "lost" a number of photos recently myself. Going back to reshoot them is so not fun. |

Now you have to fix this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/253535219945I find that a Staedtler Mars Plastic Eraser cut it up into small squares and put under the coin works a lot better than fingers. Believe it or not, I had a NGC PR 64 with that identical blue toning, just it was all over the coin, not a single 'untoned' spot! I had it for about 45 minutes before someone paid $1300 over grey sheet for it! Edited by coinlover1899
