Hokuto7291 Valued Member United States 161 Posts	Posted 12/24/2019 2:03 pm I'm sorry if I am posting this on the wrong forum. I have this 1935 Buffalo nickel that has this dark red/brown toning. If this is normal, I am sorry, it stuck out to me because it's the first buffalo I found with this type of toning. Report this Post to the Staff

T-BOP Rest in Peace United States 18456 Posts	Posted 12/24/2019 3:24 pm I've seen this kind of environmental damage many times on Buffalo and Liberty V-Nickels . I guess it's the composition of .750 copper and .250 nickel. As soon as a bad environment gets to them they get ugly . Report this Post to the Staff
