1945-2010 Poppy Quarter Without The Poppies.

I put it in acetone and swirled it around and in seconds all color was gone. edit Only if the arcylic strip covering the color is there with no color could it be real. lucolego New Member Canada 15 Posts	Posted Today 5H 17M ago Today, 24-JUL-2026, I was coin-roll-hunting quarters, and I came across a Double Poppy 1945-2010 quarter, and strangely, most color is gone off most part of both poppies, but strangely enough, there is red scattered elsewhere, like around the outer maple leaf. Is that an error? Or Post-Mint damage? The coin appears in too good condition for its 2 poppies to be worn down, but a small part remains intact. Could it be a coloring process error, where some of the color intended to go on the poppies "splashed" elsewhere instead? Any idea on what's going on? Report this Post to the Staff
