Quote: Two 2026 P dimes, 1 Jefferson 2026 P nickel cool! I haven't seen a new nickel or dime yet, but have found some of the new quarters, mostly the mayflower ones.

Quote: tonight I picked a well-scattered $1.19, all coins... Excellent! Quote: I'm going to hang on with this for as long as it takes to achieve $5K. I want that milestone. Quote: so, from his email... so there you have it. it has been done before. it can still be done now, depending on where you live. Indeed. Just now where I live.

tonight was a bonanza of stuff. tomorrow I will get pix of all the stuff I picked tonight, I'm in a bit of a rush. it's 2:40am as I peck this out, I have a cat on my lap and I have to blast off for Seaside condos (about a mile/mile and a half from my place) soon (by 3) because the lady I work for there- Joyce- has been hospitalized (earlier on monday) with a kidney infection. they(hospital)'re keeping her overnight to run some tests to see if she needs a kidney removed. so, I'm on emergency duty for her doggie, Charlie. I've been back & forth all evening & night and now overnight, tending to him, trying to spend as much time as I can with him and still get my own stuff done. so I'm a busy critter tonight, but am enjoying a break with Pink on my lap before I have to hop on Quicksilver (my silver Trek road bike) again. anyway, tonight's bonanza: $2.02 in well-scattered change, plus a 10 colones coin from costa rica, 2021; two home deco wall pieces (pix will explain them better); a box of publix facial tissue, partly smooshed (by a car, no doubt), but dry & unopened; and a case of publix 16.9oz bottles of water, minus 4 bottles. i made out like a bona fide street pirate tonight! lotsa loot! i'll explain it all in more detail tomorrow, with pictures. i now have another full roll of quarters to add to the bank bag... $59 to go to achieve $5K.

Quote: I hope Joyce will make a full recovery. yes, I hope so, too, as she has been through a lot lately with her health and I'm in no mood or position to lose a customer who's been really good to me for the past nearly-2 years... breast cancer, bad hips, bad ticker, IBS, and now maybe UTI, or worse, so we are waiting to hear what the docs have to say.. she's 87 and still bulldozing her way around, gotta give her some credit for toughing it out, what a trooper. the wall deco things. brand new, someone left them in a shopping cart in the parking lot in front of Ross, scored at about 1:40am. I passed them up at first, but changed my mind once I got across the parking lot, so I circled back around and snatched them, carried both under my left arm on the way back home. tricky riding with those things. those will go to my longtime friend, Stacey. I take care of her yard & do some home maintenance & occasional painting. she gives me food, too. those things are right up her alley. I sent her pix this morning & told her they're hers if she wants them; she was ecstatic. free box of tissue, also salvaged from the parking lot in front of Ross. joy. 20 bottles of publix water scored from the circle k, near the gas pumps. I spotted them on my way home, but had no way to lug them. my arms were full. I had to race to my place, drop off the deco things, switch bikes and then head back to circle k... but I had to wait several minutes until no one was around to see me snatch them, and when I got the chance, snatch them I did... stuffed 'em all into the Crusty Bugger's basket and blasted off. (edit, prior to naptime... three quarters, a nickel and a zincoln... nice little coin drop in the winn-dixie parking lot found just prior to scoring the wall deco pieces ) what a night... I am pretty tired... I stayed at Seaside with Charlie from about 4am til just after 9am, set my alarm for 8:30... I really didn't sleep much at all, it was like sleeping in a hotel, a/c cranked cold, unfamiliar bed... plus I stayed up until about 5am reading into the latest Kindle book... home now w/cat, gonna see if I can nap-out for a bit... being a street pirate can sometimes be exhausting... zzzzz

some very nice pickins MrPink! I hope your 'boss' recovers quickly
Back in May I had a bad UTI combined with a bacterial blood infection that landed me in the hospital for 5 days, I got lots of IV antibiotics and recovered quite well - and I hope that will be the same for your 'boss'.
