In principle, it is now possible to recover tariffs we were charged illegally on coin shipments between April 2, 2025 and February 24, 2026.
Here is a link to DHL's process: https://www.dhl.com/global-en/micro...tariffs.html

To be clear, coins that are shipped from overseas to a U.S. buyer are very different from general consumer goods that go through a distribution network. There is simple traceability from seller to buyer, through an entity who collected the tariff (DHL, FedEx, or other courier service, for example). And hence no question about how much is owed (though probably some administrative fees will reduce it).

I'm curious if anyone has recovered $$? (apologies if there is already another thread on this).

Nearly $100 Billion has already been returned to corporations for the illegal tariff tax they and ultimately we paid. It is estimated another $66 Billion is still owed. The problem of course is that the money goes to the importer who paid the tariff tax and it will be up to them to return some, if any, to the consumer who paid at least a portion due to higher prices.
Amazon, Costco, Walmart and others have acknowledged publicly that they are under pressure from consumers and consumer organizations to begin refunding some of the money.

I guess we will have to wait and see.
