I'd written more than that question, but for some reason I messed up my original posting and needed to hurry to get that in.
The coin was included in my grandfather's coin collection in a box kept under my mother's bed the last 25 years. When I helped her move last month she gave it to me and I did an inventory for fun and for the sake of my brother. There were abot 1,000 items in all, including a Civil War token with a rarity of R-9.
