Anyone Have An Elizabeth 2 Half Dollar Die Clash?

Cubro99 Valued Member Canada 64 Posts	Posted 01/30/2012 04:42 am The Queen Elizabeth II laureate portrait has three versions: coat of arms 1953-54, revised coat of arms 1955-58 and the modified coat of arms 1959-64. The 1953-54 group and the 1955-58 group should have identical clash marks but I haven't found any yet. I do have a few of the third group, 1959-64. This is my better looking clash on a 1963 50 cent. http://s989.photobucket.com/albums/...DC_50c_1.png here is an edited version showing the marks http://s989.photobucket.com/albums/...c_1_edit.png The lion and unicorn figures each have three marks, a mark at their head, a mark at their feet and a mark between their forelimbs. I found some 1998,1999 and 2000, but nothing like what you have on those pictures. I wonder how many boxes I should go through to hope to get some :P Report this Post to the Staff
Cubro99 Valued Member Canada 64 Posts	Posted 01/31/2012 09:34 am I have found multiples of each but if I were to guess they would be 1/250 1991's and 1/150 1995's. Two to three boxes should help you find those two. The real trick to finding them is to drop your standards and expect them to be in a unique position. Most 1995s just have a line connecting the 9 and 5. Report this Post to the Staff
