Picked up an original roll of 1956-D wheats at the coin store today and had fun opening it. Didn't find any varieties, but some nice looking coins were inside.

Yesterday I pickup up this 1968 S quarter, I think there are different types of thiis coin. The microscope shines to much light on it to get a good pacture.

Well I started this thread, it's about time I FINALLY post a recent purchase! The picture is crummy, I must say and I don't have a photo of the reverse yet. Pic doesn't do the coin justice but it will work for now! 1881 s

Very nice SLQ for the grade, and a nice sharp strike.
@jdbarrick: What's the grade on that '81-S?

It looks great, I'm surprised it's not DMPL.

Got this nifty set of 20th century nickels from a pawn shop. If you can't see the dates, the liberty head is from 1911, the buffalo is from 1936, the first Jefferson is a 1944 War Nickel, and the last on is a 1990 Jefferson. All Philly mints. Also, the Buffalo nickel seems to have a rotated die :3

1798 $1 Thinking this is a BB124/B24a example with a weak strike that is most noticeable in the reverse clouds and stars above the wing.
