1871 CC Seated Liberty Half Dollar

Sorting through this collection of mine, trying to catalogue everything I have here into a single Excel file. Don't have too many coins from the US but this one really caught my eye.

A 1916 quarter. It is hard to tell in the picture, but there is some really nice rainbow colours on this coin, makes it really eye catching in my opinion.







It has a D mint mark correct? (Third picture) So that means it was minted in Denver? Still pretty new to this so sorry if I ask too many questions.

Nothing too much here, and no pictures at the moment. Might take a couple later tonight or tomorrow.

Got a couple silver dimes under melt, both Roosies. Got another Franklin, 49-D, to fill a hole (I have six Franklins left to go before I have a complete folder - I might start going for a proof Franklin set after that.

The big one today is an 1877-CC quarter. My first CC coin. It's not terribly pretty; in fact, I got a 10% markdown on the price listed in its flip because, as the dealer put it, "It's a CC, but it's not pretty." Well, it's beautiful to me right now, in all its heavily-worn jankiness.


Here's a shot of everything together. I got the UK 50p and 20p, along with the three Canadian nickels, in the 5 for a dollar bin. The remainder of the loose coins are IHCs and George V or George VI small cents from Canada, with a 1910 UK half penny and some modern 5p and 10p coins, all from the 12 for a dollar bin.



Here's a closeup of two of the Canadian 5 cents. I like this design for them.


And here's my new 1877-CC quarter. I love it.

This 1834 Large Cent just arrived. N-3 I think. Slightly rotated reverse.

that's a nice looking 2 cent piece. Too bad the "We" is so worn.
