I guess the P version is soon to be out! It is a very nice coin.

I was expecting my subs to get assigned an order # today. No such luck. The Mint must be totally swamped with the BBHOF coin orders. Hopefully this week... :)

I thought the mint waited until first day of sale?

The Mint does the pre-orders ahead of time usually, about 3 days to a week in advance of the release date. The CC on the order gets pinged for funds, too, so be aware of that, but the actual submission of the payment isn't till about a week or so after the release date, depending on which shipper they use.

Thanks I didn't realize that. I know they sent an email ahead of time. Maybe since I don't go online with them I wasn't aware.

Still no ping for the 2 GSM-P on the subscription. But the BBHOF order backlog is finally moving, so perhaps in the next day or two? I also expect the the subscription for the 3 burnished ASEs to be processed this week also...

So do you see this online? NO email right?

Yes, in order history if you have an online account with the Mint. Even phone and mail orders show up in order history, FYI. On my earlier '14 silver quarter proof set and '14 proof ASE subs, they were processed 5-6 days in advance of release date on 1-16 and 1-17, and shipped out a week to 10 days later. I also call the bank to see if the debit card got pinged for those amounts and they were on the day the order was created, but the actual charge itself didn't show up until the day each order was shipped. P.S.: unlike an online order, which usually comes with a same-day email confirmation, these sub orders don't generate an order creation confirmation email, you don't get an email from the Mint unless one of several events happens: your card on the subs is declined for lack of funds, an item on subscription is unexpectedly delayed for production reasons, or the order is fulfilled and shipped. Paying attention to the constantly changing order history is vitally important with the Mint if you want to get your coins in a timely manner.

Thanks. I know I call as well to see when a charge posted or if a hold is placed. Hopefully a shipment email will come when the coin ships. You think they will be later than usual?

Subs can be placed between now and release date, the 7th. It would be weird if it were after Monday.

So when do you think the coin will be shipped?

My order is showing up but it is also saying that its backordered and it expects to ship the 19th. I was thinking that they would at least get the subscriptions mailed on time but guess I was wrong. Its nice getting the discount but was also hoping it meant I would get it right away.
