ATB 5oz subscribers: I just got an order #43045xxx issued today. If you subscribe today it would start with the Shenandoah release next month. Also subscription orders never generate a confirmation email at the time of creation, so be aware they'll ping your debit/cc or whatever you used for the subscription. Check back with your order history frequently. Yep, the GSM-P coins are backordered to 4-19. PS: @Doug58, thanks for the heads up. Finally they got their act together after the BBHOF mess!

I have a question on subscriptions. If you have a subscription for say 2 of the Smokey Mt. coin and only want 1 of the next can you change the number of items without losing the subscription? This ATB coin is just a different type of item since there are 5 per year, not just one as the Proof sets etc. |

Yes we are. If you log on to the mist website you can see if your order has been placed. If you have an order you can see a note saying it's backordered. Hope this helps

Thanks. I just don't go online for ordering items so I'm 'in the dark'!! Thanks for keeping me informed. I guess with all the releases this past week, the Mint is very busy. Those Gold eagles look so nice!

angel2004: you can't just change # of units on an existing subscription. The easiest way to change the # is to cancel your subscription, after GSM is processed, and place a new subscription into your cart. I couldn't change the # number of silver proof sets for later this month, so I canceled and re-subscribed if that helps you any.

Thanks. So cancel and reorder That works. I wonder if the backorder has to do with many subscriptions as well. It is a good deal with the discount. I assume this can be done on the phone as well?

Yes, ask the CSR if she could "adjust" your subscription first. She might just merely cancel the sub in her screen and reorder the sub with the new # of units. Adjusting mid-subscription messes with the computer algorithm, I think. Novitek's delivery systems are pretty streamlined and don't seem to have a lot of tolerances for exceptions. Otherwise just tell her you want a new subscription order because the # of units changed.

An email for my subscription for the 5 ounce Smoky MTN ATB arrived today. And the thing is backordered till 4/19/2014. Edited by welder

They updated my order. The $.02 charge was cancelled and they added the $278.90 with an expected ship date now of 4-21-14.
Interestingly - there doesn't seem to be a free mint bag with the subscriptions... not that I need another one.

The subs are automatically processed and the "free" bag wasn't coded into the process. I suppose the Mint's take is if you're subscribing to an item with a discount, there's your "free" bag right there. On all my placed orders I've been canceling the bag, I see no reason to have it shipped first when all the items on the order are backordered.
