Ok, here are the other three I picked up last week.

1) NGC got the 208 obverse die attribution wrong, as they called it 207. I didn't care about their mis-attribution all that much, as the token speaks for itself. The eye appeal was off the charts, and this one just glows in hand. Also, the 410 reverse die usually doesn't come this nicely struck up, so that was a big plus also.

2) The 442 "NEW YORK" reverse die strike is weak, but I particularly liked the misaligned reverse die and the overall eye appeal of the token otherwise. Also, given the price I paid for this one at $60, I'd buy CW tokens of this caliber all day long.

3) The D.L. Wing store card is undergraded in my opinion by 2 points, and it has great eye appeal. I also liked the centering-dot and the "UNION FLOUR" theme on the reverse (store card die #1372).

This is a duplicate for my collection (I have another in NGC MS65RB), but this is a particularly nice early die state example of the Fuld 174 die (paired with 272).

I won't be attending FUN, another year of bad planning.

Absolutely stunning Dave. It looks like a MI 224 AV-1a, is it? I hope NGC called the color RB, the pics sure look like it. The Census has 5 graded by NGC, hope yours is the MS-66.

I do have a question, both Fuld 2 and 3 call the reverse as die #1042. But the pictures of 1042 are dated 1863 and die 1047 for the AV-2a variety is dated 1864. Yours appears to be dated 1862 or is that a 3?. If it is 1862 the reverse on your token might be a die 1007? Which would make it unlisted, even in the new 3'd Edition. All three are from Stanton's shop.
What am I missing here?

Sorry to hear you won't be attending... Hopefully next year you can make it.

You are good . It's the 1863 Detroit MI F-225AV-1A Martin Bro's NGC MS 66RB Civil War Token - Pop 1 / 0. I was actually going to buy myself a gold coin this year, but when I saw it, I knew I had to have it . It definitely wasn't cheap, but being the best there is, I think I did ok

That digit is a 3, my display isn't the best so the distortion threw me off.

I have researched a LOT of tokens, so I have lots of bookmarks to help. I think you did very well on that purchase. The odds of another 66 coming along are very high. So, you' re at the top and will be for a long time. I wonder if your token is the Plate coin for Fuld 3. I'll have to look in to that tomorrow.

nice looking token I don't have my book with me, but the obverse is Fuld 219-226, and the reverse is Fuld 320-328. I will check again when I am home.

Thanks! Not the best pix I know. The rays around the star are crisp & all there, but I lost 'em in the capture. I have it as 221/324 ...but I'm far from an expert.
