I received this coin with an uncleaned lot about a year ago. It has been soaking. I have casually had my eye out for it. So far no luck.

It is done with its soaking and I would like to ID it. Can anyone out there put me on the right track? Please and thank you!

The style looks Byzantine, but I haven't seen anything that looks quite like this. Can you give a size and weight of the coin?

It weighs 2.04 grams and is 15.9 mm wide.

I was thinking Byzantine also. I have looked a little but was hoping for bit more direction:)

Thats an interesting coin! I dont think I've seen any like it so I will have to look around for another example. It looks like maybe stars and rays or a wheel on one side. The other image almost looks like the all seeing eye or maybe a star and crescent?

I'm not sure if I'd even call it Byzantine? A strange coin indeed.

Yeah. I just spent the evening looking through wildwind's Byzantines and I am not seeing it. Maybe something Islamic or Judea?
