I don't think these are all that "funny" 7 consecutive Woods - Mills 1928 B Silver Certificates I picked up in the last year. E97757179B E97757180B E97757181B E97757182B E97757183B E97757184B E97757185B

TheNickelGuy, those are very nice. I always thought that series was cool. When I show one to my relatives, they are amazed by the differences between then and now. Most folks today are not aware that currency used to be bigger, too.

Speaking of gold certificates, I picked this up last week in a sparse on-line auction. Love the GCs!

I was asked to informally appraise a local womans deceased husbands collection and this was the only piece of currency in it! I made a fair offer with the caveat she have at appraised by the dealer that was purchasing her coins. She had over $30,000 in gold coins and thought they might be worth $5-6000. She gratefully let me have it cheap.

I have one of those, but not nearly as nice as yours. Kudos!

Oh, very nice indeed! Is the top margin as tight as it looks or is that a product of the scan?

My question exactly. This issue is notorious for tight top/bottom obverse margins, so I'm guessing this scan is accurate. See the tight centering below:
