Newbie Needs Trained Eye 1960 D Over D Small Over Large Cent

fixer11 New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 04/13/2012 3:30 pm 1960 D small over large help I'm extremely new to numismatics, and coins in general, but have quickly become intrigued. Even with a descent loop, and other forms of magnification, I feel like I could look at an error in a coin and convince myself I'm seeing things. Or, I'm sure I'm just as capable of the doing the opposite. I scanned part of a roll of 1960 D pennies at 1200 dpi which should be large enough for a trained eye to catch a D over D small over large date. All 1960 D sm/lg date coins are a large date with a small date on top of it. The coins in your photo are all small dates. Report this Post to the Staff
