Can anyone ID this coin for me? I am wondering whether it might be an 1830 Bust half large letter variety.

Nice coin! O.K. so this is just an opinion...I think it is an O-109.
-Obverse. Based on the date....18 noticeably higher than 30.Stars drawn to edge.

_Reverse. Left sides of D and E in line and C almost touching the olive branch...

others may come to a different decision....

Definitely normal letters...

The E in States is the key..it would be as large as the T in the large letter variety

yes, looks like O-109,

R-3.

But the E has nothing to do with it.

All 1830's are the same size lettering.

But 3 different size 0's in the date
