Searching through some old Whitman folders, I found
these dimes looking mighty shabby. Should they be moved
to another container? put in acetone/verdicare? Should I be
concerned at all?

Thanks,
Casey

I believe you have a Whitman album (which is preferred) and not a folder.

I do not see any problems with them. They look like they have honest toning, so I would leave them alone.
Rest in Peace

I'm no expert but I know that any attempt to clean them will most likely diminish their value. The experts can spot a coin that's been dipped and any other method of cleaning will scratch the coins.

I think they look just fine -- like the nice old coins that they are.
