do you think this is an acid penny? seems a little different than the others I've found, as the surface is almost satin, and not doesn't seem to have that typical acid washed look.

Looks to be normal. Maybe just a little alloy composition
miscue. Similar to those brassy looking cents.

I'd describe it in hand as having absolutely no luster it's very matte satin looking and almost pinkish. Like a rose gold color.

Cleaned. The word pink says it all. Try dipping an ordinary copper cent in jewelry cleaner and see the pink color on a cent.
