Found a 1964 D Silver Dime on the floor in front of a Coinstar.

My guess it hit the kick back tray and took off flying then hit floor.

The past few weeks have given me a skunk streak, but I'm not as greedy for silver as I was before ever since getting the 1964 half dollar for face value. 3 weeks without a penny so far...

Snagged a 63 Rosie from Walmart just now. First time I checked there. Probably a sweet place to check, cause imagine lots of dumps go through there.

I was post pics later tonight but I got a massive amount of dirty US, wheat pennies, canadian coinage, foriegn coins, smashed pennies and tokens. I got about a pound of stuff. There was over $6 in Canadian.

There was two high school students dumping coins for a school drive for a charity. I heard them questioning what to do with their rejects. So I introduced myself and told them I would be more then happy to pay them for what they couldn't use. They told me I could just take it. They had thirty buckets of change and had taken them like a hour and a half.

There wasn't any silver but still cool for free.

Got 2 dimes and a penny, saw the reverse of one and got real excited because it looked old, but guess what year it was? 1975-D. Oh well, 21 cents is better than nothing since I broke the skunk streak from before.

And BTW, the other one was a 1997 Bermuda dime I have no use for, so maybe one of you will have a good day coin roll hunting in the future.

At one of my dump banks (dimes-halves are only in $500 bags, so they had to change them twice), I found in the top part that spins a quarter and nickel held together due to gum. I've never found anything besides a steelie once in a blue moon and no silver, but a couple months ago I found around $14 in coins that were left in the reject slot that is the type that you need to open a door to access. I've also found several British pound coins, aroud 10 Euro, and some other foreign coins in the past.

In the last week I have found a beat up clad dime and penny in the Coinstar reject tray. Also a nickel and 2 pennies on the ground while pumping gas. So for the year I am up 18 cents!

Today I found a silver 40% swedish 1-krona in a coin return tray from the coffee machine at school. Free silver!

I have been in a coin star slump lately so I Walked over to stop and shop (right across the street) at my lunch break today and looked into the slot and noticed 1 quarter and 1 cent. To my delight it was a 1946-D quarter and 1938-P Wheat cent! Thank you coin star!

I had a really creepy older guy behind me the other day. I was dumping pennies and he just stood behind me and stared. After about 3-4 minutes I turned around and said "can I help you? Are you waiting on this?" He just said no and stood there. Finally he said "you know some coins could be worth more than face". He probably saw "Wheat" written on one of my bags. I told him that these weren't valuable and he finally left. To keep with the theme of the thread I found a clad quarter and a 2000s CND dime in the return slot.
