Walked across the street today to Stop and Shop and checked the coinstar and found a 1929-P LWC!

Went to the grocery store today, and it was unusually crowded, which I wasn't surprised about considering Easter is this Sunday. No one was using the coinstar machine, so I looked in the reject slot and saw a few coins, so I took them. When I looked at them, I saw the back of a Roosevelt dime, which looked unusually light in color, so I flipped it over, and it was a 1964! It may be the most common year for a silver coin, but getting one for free is always an awesome thing!

Sorry for the double post, but something crazy just happened. I had to go to another grocery store to pick something up for tomorrow, and while there, I check the Coinstar machine near the checkout aisle, and believe it or not, there were not one, but TWO more silver dimes in the reject slot! The picture below shows my finds from today: top one is the 1964 from earlier, and the bottom 2 were the ones I just got, a 1962 and a 1964 respectively. Seriously, I can't believe I got 3 silver dimes in 1 day, all for free! I guess that takes the saying to heart, when it rains, it pours!

Thanks for the comments, I've heard people mentioning silver finds, but I never knew it could actually happen!

No silver since November, but today I picked up $3.37 face value in US coins from my usual machine. I just about filled up a pocket.

Since November, in total, I've found 8 quarters, 14 dimes, 10 nickels, 57 zinc Lincolns, 13 copper Memorial Lincolns and 4 wheaties, $4.64 total to go into my Christmas time Salvation Army collection jar.

Also 1 Canadian quarter, 3 Canadian dimes, a 1974 Canadian penny, a 20 UK pence piece, one five cent Euro, and two one cent Euros, and a Trinidad and Tobago cent.

Nice find! Also, does anyone know why people put coins stuck together with gum on top of the machine? I forgot to mention I found a penny and a dime stuck together on top of the machine last Friday, and later noticed that someone mentioned people putting coins like that up there occasionally.
