Nice score, livingwater! Pretty rare to find 1949 (or 1955) Dimes of any mint circulating, so to find one in a Coinstar is quite amazing!

Pretty cool score, John77! Makes me wonder if it was part of a collection dump?

Quote: Pretty cool score, John77! Makes me wonder if it was part of a collection dump? Thanks, Errers! Actually, definitely not part of a collection dump... late the previous afternoon, I had witnessed a couple with a laundry basket full of coins depositing them into the machine- a quick glance as I walked by showed they looked to all be quarters, dimes, and nickels. It looked like it would take them a very long time to get done, so rather than wait around, I decided to go home... I came back very early the next morning and there they were! Quote:

Quote: I lucked out today to the tune of $2.08, not including a lump of cupronickel that was once a quarter. Nothing special, but it was free money! Very nice!
