no one can take away the fact that I am one of the privileged few to find a hoard of silver in the reject tray... hard to believe this was almost 7 1/2 years ago.
Still worth celebrating!

At our favorite grocery store, the self checkout attendant stands directly in front of the coin cashing machine. So I imagine that they abscond with any goodies fairly quickly during the day.

[Well, I guess good things come in 3's! For the third time inside a month I got lucky at the store.

Get your mind out of the gutter, I meant finding coins in the Coinstar! Jeez!!!

3 dimes, one a 1934 Mercury and the other two common Roosevelts along with 9 common pennies. Even though the numbers are smaller than the others, the silver dime makes it the best of the bunch!

I found 2 shiny Shield cents in the local Coinstar reject tray today. Does that count? First "finds" of the year ...

My dad went shopping at Shaw's and found a bunch of change at CoinStar. There were Canadian coins and American coins. He gave me the change he found to look through and I found this. A 1962 P 90% silver Roosevelt dime! It's been a long time since he and I found silver.
