Its silver 0.925 and 5 grams. Memorial issue for shifting remains of king Nikala I and queen Milena to Cetinje on 1. October 1989. Beside 1 perper there are 2 and 5 perper also in silver and 10, 20 and 100 in gold. Coins form these series were minted in Zlatara Majdanpek and Belgrade mint (Zin)
No there are no silver coins smaller than this one (23 mm - I just bought digital caliper and measure it ) witch is size of original perpers from 1909, 1912 and 1914. There is also another "new" issue of Montenegro coin in 2002 with much smaller mintage but in this issue they minted also coins of 1, 2, 10 and 20 para in Ni and Cu beside silver and gold perpers. This issue I think was commemorating anniversary of Central bank of Montenegro. Im glad you like coins I couldn't fine pics of other coins in these issues but they are practically same like Montenegro coins from the beginning of 20th century.
