thanks for the welcome notes......i made 2 separate orders from RCM for 1913/14 10.00 coins and actually almost cancelled my second order when they returned my cheque because I forgot to add the taxes on it. But after I rcvd the first batch of coins I resent the cheque for the second batch and still havent rcvd them...I think the coins are going to be pretty popular and after they officially melt the remaining stock the values will jump because the mintage figures will have to be republished and revised and then we will see the actual figures and I predict that the 1914 5.00 and the 1912 10.00 will really jump in value....but I note that the ebay listings are starting to show up more frequently...The main dealer I talked to in Vancouver on Fraser street said that he had his in stock but wasnt selling them until he had more market place ...ie ebay inputs so I think most of us will hold back unless youre desperate for a return on your hard earned investment...over and out

I remember you from the lineup. You were the guy who paid in cash and Chris the clerk said money is money.
I was 10th in line and I did not get any of the $5 coins.
Few of the coins have appeared on ebay but I did find this one.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1913-Canada...em589c212924

This $1913 $5 coin sold for a $638.88. Which is in my price range.

looking at the RCM website the 1913/14s are still listed as available......638 is a good deal for the 1913 5.00.....i think the seller isn't making much for their trouble when you factor in taxes and paypal ebay fees they will be lucky to make 75.00...its still 20% on your investment within a few months but I would be reticent to list these coins until I see more closed auction figures...especially with a low starting price......The mint has sold these coins at low prices, in my opinion, however the spot price of gold will determine value at least in part. When gold hits 3,000.00 then these coins will be worth 750 and 1500 just for the gold content. Now with gold at 1600 plus they are being sold essentially for bullion value....cash is king ....credit sucks! gold is money....canucks love pucks....enough poetry! thanks again for the welcomes

Ha ha. I wasn't expecting these until the summertime. I was busy at work and by the time I ordered, the one I wanted was sold out. I ordered late on the first day of release so I figured I'd be the last to receive These.( Plus being in alberta ) figured I was a goner :)-
