What Did You Add To Your Stash Today?

I dug through a couple melt buckets and got approximately one ounce of silver. I think this is vastly preferable to one (or more...) one-ounce round - or at least it's more fun.

Since they were melt and I had nothing to lose, I unleashed the ultrasonic cleaner (gasp!).

And the end result...

I think it helped out most obviously on the half-crown - I like the deep tone on the sixpence, and it's reassuring to know it's not just pocket grime. It also helped reveal crucial details on those two old slicks you see there! I was actually able to identify and date the 5 kopeks (1892), and it pulled back enough of the grime on the 3d (not sure about denomination) to show "1837" instead of "18(curve)7", although honestly I could have just worked it out based on the monarch.

P.S. I'm also posting this in the Main Coin Forum to show these experimental results with my ultrasonic cleaner, so sorry about the repetition :U
