B,

I actually participated in an Aussie Spider auction just a couple of weeks ago. Once it crested $700, I dropped out. Just checked to see how it ended. You were right. It went for $900. The ones I talked about were years ago. Probably 2009. I was the second highest bidder on one back then for around $660. That's happened far too frequently for my taste. I don't know if you follow the Palau Tiffany series but in 2008, they were consistently selling in the $150 range and I just missed winning one on a number of occasions. I think they sell for around $800 and up today.

T.
I'm missing Tiffany's on local auction all the time ... usually 2008 goes for $500, but that's too much for the coin I don't really like.

Well, remember you wrote about mexican wild life series?
I've got one!
full 10 coin set in this booklet.

Bekiz is my type collector. He gets the good stuff, doesn't beat around the bush with junk silver, or generic rounds or bars and other stuff that really is worth the money... you guys out there take notice of what he is buying with PM prices dropping.

What he does, you all should be copying. We need to get him to do a blog.

Bekiz, I tip my hat towards you!!

PM prices are going up in my area, not down, due to lack of availability.

I just sold 5 - 2013 plain old ASE's for $30 ea, because a co-worker could not find any locally.

Fistfull, that is excellent that you can sell locally for about $10 over spot, if your making money on silver deals keep it up. I just buy online, locally .. bah humbug, they never have anything available.
Added 10 2013 ASE, a 201 ASE, and a 2014 SML the last couple of days. As always, holding off on larger purchases, but needed something to give away as Christmas gifts, may as well be silver.

I added $5 & $10 Indian Gold to my collection when gold went down, that would be the end of my purchase for 2013.

Was able to take advantage of the downswing in silver to snag another Turks & Caicos Apollo 11 commemorative. It's number five, I have a sickness.

Anyway, it was the cheapest I've paid and will replace a foggy example in original blue velvet case. Super excited, I'm going from this:

I'm thinking of making the old hazy one a pocket piece. I've never done such a thing with a proof...

I picked up a 1922 Peace dollar and a 1943 Mercury dime from my local coin shop in their junk bin. May not sound like much but here in my part of Canada, U.S. junk silver is only sporadically to be found

Looks like those coins are in great shape with little wear. Congrats. I have always like the look of Canada's Fifty Cent coins very nicely done.
