Mister Kairu - are you sure the Trade dollar is legit? The impression looks flat as does the color. It reminds me of a fake I bought (on purpose) a few years ago and used it for my pocket piece. Can't find which pocket I left it in.

Well once I get home from vacation I will be able to more thoroughly check but both came from my LCS and I am confident in them have been going every week almost for the past year. But you never know could have slipped past them.the coin is quite worn though and both coins have the silver ring to them

Just returned from the local coin shop with a Maria Theresia Thaler (1780), a Kangaroo and a 200 NOK piece. All for still good silver prices. Today was a nice day.

That "Spanish art round" dated 2001, the reverse logo/design look like it's the icon of Mexico.... I'm a bit confused.
I love that round and would like to find a few (or complete the whole series) so I am interested in more info. Thanks.

Google translator said Spanish to English neither me or the LCS new it was a Mexican art round. Since neither of us does world coins. And the only stuff I see is the junk Mexican coins they slip into change at stores. Like with the Canadian when the exchange rate favors use they would drive across the border and get rolls of change and slip it in with peoples change from gas or other. All of the stores have signs that say they don't take Canadian coins. But they will pass em out if you don't watch out!
