Here are better pictures of that doubled Monticello nickel I posted yesterday (posted on the wrong board-- the Classics forum). Do you think the scratches and dings would yield a details grade? What is your opinion of grade?

Yep. Looks like a VF to me. If there were not the scratches it could be a AU.
