This afternoon I had to stop at the bank because I thought that I had lost my debit card, but discovered there that I had just put the card in another area of my wallet. So after the panic attack settled down I decided to get some dimes for searching.

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the clerk gave me 2 rolls of 2012d's in the clear Brink wrappings. I had been trying to put together a roll of these and they just fell into my hands.

So I decided to test providance and asked if they had any halves. The clerk that I was dealing with said she didn't but the teller next to her piped up saying that she had 2 and asked if I wanted them. I said sure by all means. After passing over my dollar to her she thanked very much for taking them off her hands.

It turned out that she'd given me a '67 40%er along with a nicely toned Bi-centennial coin. I thanked her and said that it was all my pleasure.

I'd take these anytime, so this week I did pretty well all told on picking up 40% halves. I got over 10 of them. Free silver is free silver.

So I was very happy with my little outing.
