I was showing a 1884 penny with clashes to another collector, he mentioned he had one that had 2 different types of 8 within the date. Pictures can be seen here:

No need to understand french, just check the last picture by Dot36, you can see a close-up.
I don't have a coin with 2 types of 8 in the date, but my 2 coins have different 8s from one another:

Hum... I see that as well, that's odd. I did delete the pictures on my computer and name these the same name... but when I upload a picture to the site, isn't saved in its database? I'll post the right ones again.

The difference I see is that the 8s on top are thinner in the middle and top. Also they both are C2.
