Hey All

Purchased a few coins over the weekend (6 in total) for decent prices and thought I would share. Here are the first three I will post the others later. These are all the sellers scans.

The first is I know the information for unfortunately the scan isn't the best

Three-New-Coins

Nero & Augustus Billon Tetradrachm of Roman Alexandria. Year 13 = 66-67 AD. NEPW KLAV KAIS SEBA GEP, radiate bust left wearing aegis, date LIG to left / QEOS SEBASTOS, radiate head of Augustus right. Köln 177, RPC 5294

The other two I am not quite sure the first is a Caracalla from Nikopolis with Tyche holding a rudder and corncucopia but I can't tell which. I bargin shopped on this one and got it for $5.77
Three-New-Coins

And this is a Septimius Serverus the seller listed as Demeter holding patera and scepter but I don't believe it to actually be Demeter. Also a Nikopolis mint. Any thoughts? I really like the coin regardless and it isn't a bad deal for 10 bucks!
Three-New-Coins

I will try and post the other three later tonight.

On a side note I am really enjoying the Roman provincials and think there will be a lot more of these coming my way soon.

Nice coins.

I enjoy provincials also, although that's not my focus right now.

Of all the collecting types of ancients coins, provincials seem to be having more discoveries of new types and new die combinations than any others. Check out some of forvm's stickies on this page if you haven't.
