1880 S Morgan Dollar- What Is This Coin?!

vince22 Valued Member United States 96 Posts	Posted 06/04/2013 10:15 pm I have had this for a long time, and always just tucked it in the back of my album. What is this Morgan dollar! Polished, PL, DMPL, I thought cleaned. There is a luster as you can see in the photos! I have never seen anything like it. Any ideas? You showed the "shadows" around the devices perfectly, and the miscreant who originally polished it helped by using flawless technique - fast movement of the polishing tool, and little care for the end result.
