Our member cheezyfryes has a thread posted: https://goccf.com/t/147459He is trying to trade up to a 2007 proof set for his little girl, Ella, born in 2007. Its been going fairly well, but time is running out before her birthday. The other day I made a challenge for anyone to meet my 5.00 to buy Ella the set. We now have two people and need just two more. Since the CCF family has a good history in helping out new little numismatists, I decided to put this challenge into the main forum also. Are there would be two more members willing/able to donate 5.00 towards the purchase of the set?  On the trade thread we already have two people who were able to at this time. So now I am moving this out into the main forum. I know, like everyone else, that times are hard - so no pressure here. BTW - Cheezy had NOTHING to do with me posting this. I just thought it would be a great way to help a little one out like we have in the past. When we get 4, we can just all paypal it to him. |

jdfindring - excellent idea  BTW - I already used paypal to send 5.00 and also got a request from vermontensium about Cheezy's email address. Since Cheezy has his profile set to accept emails, I gave it out. I hope I did the right thing. But anyone can get it by emailing him at the CCF link in his profile. You people are great! But... we all knew this already about the CCF Family right?! Anyway, since I am going to be away from the computer awhile, just paypal Cheezy yourself (send a email through CCF to him to get his email - or email me - although I will be away from the computer for awhile - on and off for the next week or so. After next week or so I will go through the old thread and this one and make an "Ella's Uncles (aunts?)" list and put it on this thread. Thanks again everyone here on CCF - I know Ella will be very happy. I hope someday to meet Cheezy and Ella F2F. |

Thanks pyrbob - I see ebay listings are averaging around 40.00 and we have 30.00. I don't know if he will buy it from ebay or where Cheezy will buy it. Does anyone know if this is a typical price at a store? |
