Moe, that's interesting. Since all my old coins are for my type set I am not familiar with the particulars of many of the issues. The "O" is on the obverse of your 1839 half. I thought only the WLH's had that feature in 1917. I'm sure there's a LOT more specifics I'm missing about some of the various series.
