1989 Penny - Coin Community Forum

Deerslayer641 New Member United States 0 Posts	Posted 05/31/2014 6:02 pm I have 2 1989 pennies with no mint mark. On both of these coins the "8" is much smaller than the other 3 numbers? Is this an unusual occurrence ? Thanks for your help, I am new at this. Report this Post to the Staff

A photo of the date will help us answer your question but if it is larger then the next question will be; Why? a full shot of both sides might provide the info needed to provide the answer. frodo on your sig.
